Visiting Naracoorte Health Service Out Patients and Emergency Services
Information you need to know:
The accident and emergency service is provided by private medical practitioners from Kincraig Medical Clinic and is not a free government service.
Patients using this service will have an out of pocket cost.
What does this mean?
This means that before you are seen by a Doctor, you need to be fully informed of the out of pocket cost for the Doctors service.
Kincraig Medical Clinic will bill Medicare on your behalf for the service and you need to agree to pay the gap amount.
How much will I have to pay?
Your out of pocket cost for a standard service will be approximately $88.00. However, extra costs may apply for associated procedures or longer consultations.
What do I need to do?
Please fill out the information and consent form.
Details MUST include:
All your personal details. Medicare Card number, any concession cards (Health Care or Pension) and your credit / debit card details.
This way we can process your gap payment the following business day.
If you do not have a credit / debit card, we will send you an invoice for the gap amount, which MUST be paid within 7 days.
If you have any concerns or are experiencing financial hardship, please discuss this with your Doctor.
